a) Those organisms in which both the sexes are present are called hermaphrodites. In other words, Organisms that are capable of producing both male and female gametes are described as hermaphrodite, or bisexual.  The possible advantage could be that they can easily reproduce if no other suitable partner is around or during when the number is less.
